Lead & Zinc Came, Came Benders & 90 deg Lil' Notcher

Stained glass has traditionally been assembled with lead channels called "Came". These are available in many widths, sizes and shapes. The sizes noted are on the side you see when you put it on, not the end (or the space for glass to fit into). 

Zinc Border Came is perfect for external reinforcing. Their hollow ends make a perfect place to install "Handy Hangers" for safe, life-long hanging. 

Zinc (also Brass, Copper and re-bar) strips will be cut in 1/2  (2 strips 3' long) for ease of shipping. If you MUST have a longer length please let us know.  (Additional Canada Post shipping charges apply for anything over 36"!). Unless otherwise noted all lead strips are 6' long, and will be rolled.

   Came benders will actually roll our harder metal Cames into circles (& ovals with some practice)!! It has many different width/depth slots to accommodate both H & U cames, in both Rounded & Flat profiles.

   The 90 deg Lil' Notcher is crucial for clean corner cuts in the thinnest border strips      (ie. ZU130). With one hand you can 'snip' with this tool & bend it to a perfect 90 deg corner! Add a drop of solder & the corners are perfect!
