Stained Glass Pliers

These quality plyers are produced by Leponitt. There are several different ones available, each for a special purpose in glass work.

The very basic stained glass plyer is the Grozer/ Breaker. It has two different serrated inner jaw shapes - one side is curved and the other side is flat. These are for "grozing" and breaking off your pieces. These are also available in narrow jaw, perfect for small pieces.

Running Plyers are just like an extra hand when you need to break long skinny pieces or "run" a score delicately. They're available in economical blue plastic or standard metal. The plastic ones include an extra set of tips. The metal ones do have replacement tips available. 

Leading nippers cut a perfectly flat edge so your joints match nicely. To keep them sharp, don't use them for cutting any other metal!
