Weller Replacement Soldering Iron Tips

Replacement tips are available for optimum soldering performance for both Weller irons.

The Weller 100 watt iron has hotter tips and cooler tips available. The hotter  800 degree tips are better if you want to solder faster. The 700 degree tip is all purpose. The 600 degree tip is perfect for working on lead projects. These are slowly being discontinued so only 3/16" width is available. Choose the tip width according to your solder joint. The 3/8" tip is for larger joints as it holds more solder. Delicate work is best accomplished with the thinner tips as they hold less solder. The temperature is indicated on the end of the tip by a 6, 7 or 8 so there's no mistakes!

There are only 2 different replacement tips available for the 80 watt iron, 3/8" and 3/16". There are no temperature variations available in these tips, they are only controlled by the iron..

Note- the tips are NOT interchangeable between the irons!
